Amy Goldsmith has been a professional environmental activist since 1979, joined Clean Water Action in 1985 (New England then NJ since 1992). Expertise in waste, waste, energy, toxics, climate, environmental justice issues, as well as efforts to make democracy work to protect public health and the environment.
Serves on many boards including founding chair of Coalition for Healthy Ports, NJDEP’s Clean Water Council, NJ Work Environment Council, Sewer Free Streets Advisory Committee and Jersey Water Works State Lead Task Force. Previously coordinated Public Health Institute's (PHI) Jobs and Environment Trainings, bringing union workers, communities and environmentalists together to find common ground. Ms. Goldsmith has a B.S. in Land Use Planning from the University of Minnesota.
